The Truckers Association of Zambia
The Truckers Association of Zambia (TAZ) is a membership-based road transporters’ association with various categories of membership on offer. These categories are Ordinary, Associate, Own-Account and Business Partners. While Ordinary, Associate and Own-Account members are transporters, Business Partners offer value addition services to the transport industry.
Register for Membership
To become a member and enjoy the benefits of the services of the Association, complete the application form and return it with the following attachments:
- PACRA Certificate of Incorporation;
- Identity Documents for the Shareholders;
- Current PACRA Computer Print-out of Company; and
- Road Service Licence (RSL).
Please be advised that the actual membership fees to be paid will be advised once the Finance and Membership Sub-Committee assesses your application form and is approved by the Executive Committee. Ensure that your application form has all the relevant attachments listed above.
For TAZ to assess your application, you are required to pay a non-refundable application fee specified in the statement of membership fees which shall be sent to you after receipt of the completed application form. The fee should be deposited or transferred into the following account:

Any individual, firm or company operating for hire and reward in the road freight and logistics industry which is registered and operating in Zambia but does not meet the terms and conditions set out under Ordinary Membership above may become an Associate Member.
